I have been wanting to sell my art at a convention for a while. So, I wanted to know if there would be any interest for me bringing my art to Anime Kaigi in 2011. Below is my deviantart and a couple of my own drawings.

I'll be attending my first Artist Alley myself, and what I decided to do was pick art to sell that played to my strengths as an artist. Now if you're planning on getting a table I have a few resources you could use that would help you decide what you want to do. (they most certianly helped me ^-^)

However if you're just planning on selling your art online/doing comissions online, I suggest going to an active forum, probably one like Deviant Art's and posting there that you are selling/doing comissions. You could even make a journal post on your DA letting people that you are open for comissions and selling prints of your work.

Here are some resources I found useful for beginners in the Artist Alley

I do like the artwork, Loveless.

For some added encouragement to the artists here, we are planning to have more artist alley spaces available this year. The price might increase slightly, but it will still be very reasonable. Everybody loves having artists/creators at a convention, and we love to support them! :)

Loveless, I would recommend putting watermarks of some sort on your artwork. Keep in mind that there are malicious people out there that would consider taking your artwork and calling it their own.
